There is information about me
Publications, projects and other information about my professional / scientific work
I develop 3d models of rotating machinery and perform calculations of machine dynamics and durability. I am interested in machinery health monitoring and use numerical methods (Finite Element Method) and conduct experimental research. I have worked on rotor dynamics and bearing selection for high-speed turbines. My research interests include hydrodynamic, gas, rolling, and foil bearings. I am a SIMP Expert and an author or co-author of several expert opinions. I am also author of more than 70 internal reports. I have authored about 80 scientific publications (including a book with Wiley Press) and 21 patent applications. I teach machine design (lectures) and engineering graphics (lectures and laboratories) at the WSB Academy. I have taught vibration in machine diagnostics (lectures and laboratories) and turbines for power generation (lectures) to PhD students at summer and winter schools within the Cenmat project. I have participated in 10 research projects, two of which I managed.
Because the website is not just about my work, I will also post information about my interests.
